How I got into Digital Marketing
To be honest, I never thought I would one day work in digital marketing. It was never my plan. I didn’t know much about Digital Marketing in the beginning. Teaching was my realm.
For a long time, my world was defined by classrooms, lesson plans, and teaching students how to communicate. My career in education was incredibly rewarding. I learned how to break down complex ideas, speak with empathy, and connect with people from all walks of life.
I loved what I did.
The Shift to Entrepreneurship is the turning point in my life. While I was passionate about teaching, I was also passionate about something else: holistic health, especially for children. I realized that many families were struggling to find truly pure, chemical-free nutrition. That is why me and my friend Reeya, we have similar goals, founded THEARTHY FARMS at Wayanad. We specialize in wood-pressed pure coconut oil (especially for kids and pregnant mothers)Gingelly oil,Herbal hair oil made of wooden pressed coconut oil and a range of other organic food products. My mission was simple… provide the best for families. The problem every small business faces as the business grow, we also hit a wall that every entrepreneur eventually hits. I had an incredible product. I had a powerful story. I had the passion. But I didn’t know how to reach the right audience.
Our company was relying mostly on word-of-mouth. Then I quickly realized that to make a real impact—to scale THEARTHY FARMS and educate more families about the benefits of organic living—I needed to master the modern tools of connection. I needed digital marketing.
This is how I enrolled in an intensive 3-month digital marketing course. From there I mastered in Content Creation, SEO, SMM, and Automation.
And here is the most surprising thing I’ve learned so far that marketing is not about selling. It’s about teaching.
Just as I used to break down a difficult subject for my students, I learned how to:
• Create Content that educates families about nutrition.
• Use SEO to help parents find the answers to the questions they are already asking.
• Leverage SMM to build a supportive community around wellness.
My journey has not been a straight line. I went from the classroom to the warehouse to the marketing dashboard.
But the goal has always been the same: to connect people with the right information and the right resources to help them live better. I am thrilled to see where this next chapter takes THEARTHY and my own career as I blend my experience in education with the power of digital marketing .
